Varsha Radhakrishnan, the founder of Bharathi Natya Kendra, believes that arts and science go hand-in-hand and that synergy is the way forward.

Her signature style of teaching Bharatanatyam includes blending Yoga, Fitness & Music training for a deeper understanding and an elevated performance of the Bharatanatyam art form. 

Varsha has been a student of Bharatakalanjali from a very young age and continues to be under the guidance of Natyacharyas- The Dhananjayans. She has participated in productions like Aikya Bharatham and Mouna Kural.

Varsha completed her MFA in Bharatanatyam from SASTRA University in 2016 under the guidance of Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, the legendary exponent of Bharatanatyam.

Varsha imparts Bharatanatyam training in Bengaluru at her school Bharathi Natya Kendra, founded in 2014, with a holistic approach. She also heads the Natya program for children of all age groups in Aurinko Academy, Bengaluru, since 2014.

Varsha has had the honor of performing at prestigious events such as Nada Neerajanam at Tirumala, Sangeethothsavam at Bharatakalanjali, Chennai, Navaratri Festival at Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai, Purandaradasa Utsav in Mysore, Navaratri Utsav in Mysore, Avismriti Festival in Bengaluru, Guru Utsav at Ranjani Fine Arts, Bengaluru, and Shivratri Utsav at Basaveshwara temple, Bengaluru.

Her Natyam school hosts a unique series called the Anubhavam, an initiative to make performing arts more accessible for all.

Varsha is also an engineer with a degree in electronics and communication with seven years of corporate experience in India, the USA, and France.
